College and YiWeiXin Reach Cooperation Intent to Build the Future of Mold Industry

On the morning of November 6th, Huang Lujun, Chairman of Foshan YiWeiXin Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yiwei Xin), along with a delegation of four people, visited Foshan Gaoming Technician College (referred to as the college) to discuss cooperation between the two parties.

Yiweixin is a modern metal injection molding factory specializing in the development and production of automotive lamp molds. It is a mold supplier for well-known enterprises such as GKOITO, AL, and OLSA. With strong capabilities and a team of high-tech professionals, the company is highly regarded. The college attaches great importance to industry-education cooperation. Over the years, the Mold Manufacturing major has established cooperative relationships with several renowned companies in Shunde District, Foshan, including Foshan Chengtai Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Guangdong Meizhi Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., Foshan Gaoming Dejian Hardware Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Midea Kitchen Appliances Manufacturing Co., Ltd., jointly cultivating high-skilled talent. This cooperation with Yiweixin adds another important member to the college's list of industry-education partners, further enhancing the construction capacity of the Mold Manufacturing major.

The college's Mold Manufacturing major has 12 training rooms, including a CNC turning and simulation training room, a CNC milling training room, a CNC milling simulation training room, a machining center training room, a machining center simulation training room, an electrical processing training room, a comprehensive mold design and manufacturing training room, general turning training room, and general milling training room, with more than 300 sets of equipment. The training rooms are equipped according to the standards of actual production workshops, capable of completing the design, production, assembly, and debugging of complete sets of molds. Huang Lujun visited each training room of the college with great interest and exchanged discussions on the further construction of training rooms and talent development models.

During the negotiation meeting, Huang expressed the company's strong desire to introduce excellent mold professionals through joint cultivation. "Integration of industry and education" and "collaborative cultivation between college and enterprise" are the basic principles and guidelines of the college. Vice President Liao Qiliang pointed out that the college is very willing to engage in extensive cooperation with sincere and capable enterprises. On the one hand, it can understand the real needs of enterprises so that talents cultivated by the college can truly be useful to the industry. On the other hand, it allows students to adapt to the market faster, shorten the period of job adaptation, and achieve "graduating with employment" and "being able to contribute immediately upon employment." Both parties have high expectations for this collaboration and reached a basic consensus during the negotiation meeting. They will subsequently delve into the details of cooperation, and accelerate the implementation and realization of cooperative projects.
